Gentlemen,
I am etc. to inform you
that the retirement of Mr.
E.A. Irving, Director of Education,
Hong Kong, has been approved with
effect from the expiration of his
vacation leave.
2. Mr. Irving has been
granted pensions from the Federated
Malay States Govt. and the Hong
Kong Govt. at the rate of £119.18.8
and £809.4.8. respectively, with
effect from the 23rd of July 1924,
and you should pay these pensions
accordingly as they become due.
3.
Mr. Irving has elected to
continue his contributions to the
Widows' and Orphans' Pensions scheme
on the basis of his pension from
Hong Kong funds.
